Twelve badminton players have set themselves a gruelling challenge to play the sport continuously for 12 hours in Burgess Hill to raise funds and awareness for the British Heart Foundation.

The charity event will run on Saturday May 31 from 8.00am-8.00pm at The Triangle and Freedom Leisure is encouraging people to come to cheer on and sponsor the participants.

James Seaton, 48, from Burgess Hill, organised the event with the help of the Freedom Leisure team as he and the other participants all have, or have experienced, friends or family suffering with heart conditions.
