Man left '˜shaken' after armed robbery near Horsham station
Police said a 21-year-old man was walking home from work on Friday (September 23) when he was approached by an armed youth in an alleyway near the station car park at about 1.15am.
The man was tripped up and fell to the floor before the suspect, believed to be around 15-years-old, produced something shiny from his pocket. Officers said it is believed to be either a knife or screwdriver.

Hide AdThe man was told to hand over his phone. He did and the youth ran off, police said.
The suspect has been described by the force as white, around 5’10” and of slim build. He looked young, around 15-years-old, and was wearing a black hoody and black tracksuit bottoms.
Detective Constable James Gwynne said: “This was a frightening ordeal for the victim who has understandably been left shaken.
“We would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time and who saw something suspicious.”
