PICTURES: Worthing's wood sculptures

CHILDREN have used their memories of the tons of timber that washed up on Worthing's beaches to create wood sculptures.

The sculpture competition, held on Sunday, January 25, was the last event in the Ice Prince Festival which was organised by Worthing Arts Council to mark the first anniversary of the timber hitting Worthing.

There were 11 people taking part in the competition at Splash Point and using wood donated through Worthing Freecycle and scrap wood from Wenban-Smith in Worthing.
