Return of the Zapcats

BY land and by sea, Littlehampton faces an invasion of power at the town's annual Regatta early next month.

Organisers are looking forward to a bumper entry of 60 Zapcats, the miniature powerboats which made a highly successful first appearance at last year's event.

There will be a further 13 two-litre powerboats competing in national races at speeds up to 80 miles per hour, the first time the regatta has staged championship racing at this level.

And on dry land, around 150 classic American Gold Wing and Harley Davidson motorcycles will make a stunning display on The Green.
