Whitstable Town 2 Horsham 1: Gary Charman sent-off as Hornets lose on the road

Horsham player-manager Gary Charman was sent-off after the final whistle for dissent as Horsham fell to a 2-1 defeat away to Whitstable.

They were unable to follow up the impressive 4-1 victory on Tuesday night over another Kent side, Hythe Town.

Whitstable gained their first ever win against Horsham through a goal in each half by Kane Rowland and Ian Pulman.

Hornets drew level just six minutes after the home team’s opener through a second goal in two games by new signing Troy Williams.
