The boxes of love from Chichester pupils

BOXES of love are winging their way to Belarus to put a smile on the faces of children living in Chernobyl.
Around 40 shoeboxes packed full of items including toys, stationery, clothing and toiletries were put together by generous pupils at Fordwater School in Chichester.

They and other items collected by Chichester Lions Club including tinned food, medical equipment and baby clothes, are bound for School 27 in the Gomel region of the country, 22 years after the country suffered the world's worst nuclear disaster.
