Hastings Branch of the Parachute Regimental Association
At the October 13 meeting the dedication was read by Albert Reeves, president.
The branch expressed their thanks for the first-rate newsletter which was sent out last month.

Hide AdJim Hearn, the welfare officer, gave an update on those members who are ill at this moment. Jim said that he had offered all the widows of former members a free invitation to our Christmas Social.
Publicity officer Don Brennan explained that he had arranged a 10 pr cent discount for PRA members at the White Hart in Catsfield on production of a PRA card - Monday to Friday only.
Don also explained that he had, on visiting a branch member in the Conquest Hospital, found that the nurses were running raffles to provide the patients with extra toiletry items.
He had through the branch arranged for Sainsbury Supermarkets and Lloyds Chemist to help them out. The branch also donated the raffle money from these monthly meetings (17) to allow him to buy extra items.

Hide AdThere will be a presentation at 10am on November 10 at the Conquest Hospital.
The treasurer gave his report which was accepted by all those present.
The Airborne Warriors are welcome to attend the branch and will be made welcome.
