A man who joined Stagecoach as an apprentice has now been appointed engineering manager at the Worthing bus depot.

The bus operator said Alec Bradley was a perfect example of how people can grow in the business.

Alec joined Stagecoach in 2005 and completed his apprenticeship at the Chichester depot.

He became a shift fitter there after he qualified and was then appointed assistant engineering manager at Chichester in 2012.

Alec moved in 2015 to become assistant engineering manager at Winchester and has now returned to the south coast as the new engineering boss at the
