Dogs bring delight to nursing home residents

RESIDENTS of Ancaster Court Nursing Home in Hastings Road had plenty of activity to enjoy on Saturday afternoon.

This year the home's annual novelty dog show was in aid of Pets As Therapy and the Cinnamon Trust '“ which provides a dog-walking service for pet-owners who have to go into hospital.

Nursing home manager Alison Sowerby said that at more than 50 entries the show was better supported that ever.
