While off-street providers NCP will be given the boot in April, the council’s contract with West Sussex County Council, for the provision of on-street enforcement, has not been resolved.

Hide AdCouncil leader Paul Yallop said informal meetings had taken place, and any decision would have to be ratified by the joint strategic committee.
He said: “I am keen Worthing gets a better deal from West Sussex.
“We either walk away, or remain at the table, and try to find a way through together.
“I thought the latter was better, rather than throwing our toys out of the pram.”
