Hide AdThis identified the main concerns such as a loss of good agricultural land for housing, increased gridlock on roads around the village and the complete loss of the identities of the historic and rural villages of Climping, Ford and Yapton.
All will be engulfed by the proposed town's housing and industrial development.
Some 40 members of the public attended the meeting. Representatives from the Campaign Against Ford Eco-Town group and several local residents spoke about the scheme.
