BOOK A STALL: The 4th Annual Boreham Street and Wartling Grand Summer Fair takes place this year on Sunday July 17 from 2pm to 5pm with proceeds going to Local Good Causes. This is a brilliant afternoon of fun for all the family with side shows, stalls, family games including the ever popular space hopper and maggot racing, children’s corner, grand raffle, silent auction and tombola’s. Barbecue. There will be afternoon tea, Pimm’s and Harvey’s Real Ale tent with a backdrop of an afternoon of jazz with the fabulous Hot Club of Hastings. Entrance is by donation and parking is plentiful. Anyone interested in booking a stall at this very popular event should contact Sandy on 07951 019660 and don’t forget to put this date in your diary.
RUMBLE IN THE JUMBLE: The Reid Village Hall in Boreham Street is holding a jumble sale on Saturday February 20 between 2pm and 4pm. Fabulous quality jumble, ladies, men’s, and children’s clothing is on sale along with toys, games, books, bric-a-brac, afternoon tea and cakes. SUNDAY WALK: The walking group are meeting this Sunday for a walk with Sylvia (469196) and Lita (844785) at 10am Sovereign Light Café, Bexhill which was made famous by pop group Keane. This is a seafront walk to Hastings, followed by optional lunch and return by bus or train.
COFFEE MORNING: Gill Cant talks about a support group for women who have had mastectomies. All welcome to come along to Herstmonceux Health Centre from 10am to noon on Monday.
