A vigilante group which saves motorists from being issued parking penalties have appeared on a BBC documentary.

The group, dubbed ‘Random Acts of Kindness’, took to Horsham car parks and offered to pay for pay and display parking tickets to avoid wardens issuing a penalty.

The BBC documentary, Parking Mad, followed the leaders of the group, Matt and Mike, who fund around £60 out of their own pockets to save residents from fines.

They operate on weekends and intensely monitor car parks as they attempt to stamp out parking penalties.
