Lewes town councillor resigns from his role

Fraser Addecott, Green Party councillor for Castle Ward, has told the Town Clerk of his decision to step down as a town councillor, which is effective immediately.
There will now be a two-week period during which ten electors registered within Castle Ward may request an election be held.

Hide AdIf those ten requests are received before Wednesday, February 17, a by-election will then be scheduled by the District electorial services manager. The by-election would have to take place within 60 days.
