Little Common's market success
That was the welcome at Little Common's second trial Farmers' Market.

The success of the monthly Bexhill Farmers' Market in Parkhurst Hall led members of the public to approach him about the possibility of a market for Little Common. Shoppers appreciate being able to buy fresh locally-grown produce.
As shoppers browsed stalls ranging from cheese to meat, greengrocery to vegetables, he said: "I wasn't here for the first one, unfortunately.
"Considering the weather was so bad, we did well. We had all the stalls and everyone said how well they did and everyone was pleased.

Hide Ad"I think it is good for Little Common. I think it brings people into the area. I have definitely seen people here from Bexhill so they will probably do some shopping in Little Common as well."
*A diary note for shoppers. St Martha's Hall is already booked in April and June. To avoid confusion the next Little Common Farmers' Market will be on Thursday, July 12 - the first of a confirmed monthly series.
