A number of our people with dementia suffered falls that led to hospitalisation.
More were affected by other diseases. One of our carers worked herself into hospital, overwhelmed by chronic infection.

Hide AdThis year we are preparing ourselves with a simple survey to discover how people see the risks facing them over the coming winter, how confident they are about coping and what might help them cope better. We shall be using the results of our survey in ongoing discussions with Hastings and Rother Clinical Commissioning Group about the adequacy of support to people living with dementia and their carers.
We are a small group and to give our survey a wider scope we would welcome participation from other carers for people living at home with dementia. If you would like to take part, please either email to [email protected] or call 07847 214961 and we’ll get our simple, one-page survey to you.
