We agree
May we wholeheartedly agree with Alan Carn's letter in last week's Observer indicating it has cost us, the public, almost £2m to get into the position of saving West Sussex County Council £900,000 '“ and it will be a further two years before any financial benefit is felt.
It does seem WSCC are making cuts without having thought through the implications and knock-on effect to the local economy.
A further example of this is the cuts to bus services to save a mere £70,000.
On one hand they spend on promoting local tourism and on the other are taking all manner of actions to obstruct it.
