Hide AdCandice Koing, managing director of Forward Facing, one of the six charities supported by The Social Society, said: “There are so many people in our community willing to give their time to support a local charity, it has been overwhelming.”
A line up of creative workshops will also encourage guests to try something new and inspire them to create a positive change, no matter how big or small.
The event marks the first anniversary of The Social Society. Their membership model ensures that charities have access to people that want to donate their time and skills to a local cause, with their monthly fee going towards fundraising.
Speakers include Paul Richards from Stay Up Late, Jess Crocker from The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership, founder of Working Progress Merlin Nation, as well as Whitehawk Football Club ‘Ultra’ fan Josh Boyd.
