Applause rang out across Horsham in support of the NHS and key workers.

Residents across the district stepped out their front doors and clapped as a mark of respect to carers during the coronavirus pandemic.

People whooped and cheered at 8pm yesterday, April 2, for the second #clapforcarers celebration.

On the County Times Facebook page Catrina Ransom said: “We respect you all NHS and key workers for your hard work in this hard time – stay safe.”

Emma Crouch added: “We were there clapping for EVERYONE on the front line.”

In Pulborough a woman was seen playing You’ll Never Walk Alone on a brass instrument as a mark of respect to the carers.
