Heavy traffic on A259 following three-vehicle crash and road closure
Following the crash, a number of roads in and around the A259 between Newhaven and Seaford were closed both ways - causing delay of more than one hour for drivers.

Hide AdLewes Police confirmed after 10.30am the roads were now open, but drivers are advised to still expect some delays whilst the traffic clears.
Brighton & Hove Buses tweeted that due due to ongoing Incident it had to divert the BH12, BH12A and BH12X service From Denton corner via the A26 and A27 through to Eastbourne in both directions.
The bus company said shuttle buses were in place between Eastbourne and Seaford, with one shuttle bus will be serving all stops and another will be operate straight through from Eastbourne.
Southern Rail said it is accepting bus tickets between Seaford and Newhaven.
