Public inquiry opens into Iping Common fencing plan

An inspector appointed by the secretary of state for environment, food and rural affairs will hold the inquiry at Cowdray Hall, in Easebourne.
The trust proposes to build 4,285 metres of 1.2 metre high livestock fencing to enclose 78.2 hectares of the common.
