Surf’s up indoors as gym brings latest craze
The team from BeachFit Gym in Shoreham will not only be opening a second branch at the Beach Green building on Lancing seafront, but they will also be launching the next big fitness craze, SurfSET.
A huge success in the US, SurfSET replicates the movements of a surfboard to help strengthen core muscles.

Hide AdOwner of BeachFit gym, Paul Crane, said: “SurfSET is massive in the States at the moment and is designed to challenge your body in new ways.
“Every exercise on the board is designed to engage your core and stabiliser muscles and overall body balance is achieved creating that enviable athletic body shape achieved by many surfers.
“We have five indoor surf boards coming to BeachFit and we will be running classes under our resident expert Kate Radford.”
Paul and Kate teamed up with the owner of the Beach Green building, Alex Hole, to bring a new gym to Lancing seafront.

Hide AdResidents will be able to view the new facilities in May before starting their membership in June.
The building will also include a cafe.
SurfSET classes will begin from June 1 and you do not have to a member of the gym to book at www.beachfit.co.uk
