The following list of names of the Great War dead from the Hastings, Bexhill, Battle and Rye areas of East Sussex has been compiled from a number of sources, including the excellent Roll of Honour website at http://www.roll-of-honour.com The Sussex pages have been compiled by Christopher Comber, Janet Graves, Alan Seymour, Guy Voice and many others under the auspices of Martin Edwards. Many thanks are due to them for their sterling work in this massive task.
