Parents and siblings gathered at St Margaret’s CE Primary School, in Arundel Road, Angmering, last Wednesday to watch the entertainment, including dances.
The celebrations started at 1.20pm with the crowning of May Queen Millie Justice, May Princess Izzy Pitt, May King Mason Wright and May Prince Joseph Scott.

Morgan Hodgson, last year’s May Queen, crowned Millie, then she and Jack Burton, last year’s May King, presented cups to the new royal party.
All year groups processed past the royal party in turn. The May Queen, King, Prince and Princess then took a turn around the field themselves before striding up the red carpet to their thrones.
Following the crowning ceremony, there were dances performed by each year groups, with all the children dressed up for the occasion, wearing colourful outfits.
