WOOD WATCH: Day 28: VIDEO: Wood chipping has started
The beach opposite Heene Road is now fenced off to the public while Homegrown Timber carries out the chipping of approximately 2,000 tons of pine.
The chips will then be used for bio-fuel.
All residents and businesses in the area have been told about the chipping. The public can call 01903 239999 with any concerns.
