Burgess Hill Cricket Club holds awards night
Almost 100 members and their families attended, enjoying a full 3 course meal with dancing to live music from The Flaming Mojos.
The season’s batting awards went to Jack Simpson with Peter Billinghay collecting both of the club’s bowling awards. Fielder of the year was won by Tom McKenzie and the Young Player of the year, being the youngster who made the biggest impact in senior cricket, was won by Ben John.

Hide AdThe team players of the year were Jack Simpson for the 1st XI, Bobby Barnes for the 2nd XI, Niall Murphy for the 3rd XI, Mason Foley for the 4th XI and Dan Yates for the Sunday Select XI. The Clubman Trophy was awarded to the club’s Director of Cricket, Andrew Davies.
The 4th XI youngsters who won the Stoner Conference League for the second year in succession were presented with the Conference Shield by Club President Colin Owen.
