2015 will be a test of the Club’s strength in depth with a number of players being unavailable to the Club for various reasons, including skipper James Pearce, who is away on an industrial placement from University.

The additions of Simon Shivnarain from Roffey and Chris Sawyer, who has moved to the area from Essex, should help compensate for the losses and the Club is still working on a couple of other potential recruits as we go to press. It is also hoped that some of the younger players from the successful 2014 2nd XI will also be pushing for places in the early part of the season.

Overseas

The Club is delighted to welcome Max O’Dowd from New Zealand. Max plays his club cricket in Auckland where he has also represented the Auckland A side. He has previous UK experience and played a number of games for Nottinghamshire 2nd XI in 2014. A right hand bat and off break bowler, Max will also be coaching the academy teams at Lindfield.
