The Seagulls shone as they strolled to a home victory that elevated them to 14th in the table – 10 points clear of the drop zone with just four games left to play.
One standout performer was centre-back Lewis Dunk, and teammate Ben White has been eager to praise his form of late.
Speaking after Saturday’s win, he said: "This season he [Dunk] has been unbelievable for us. I don't think we would be in the position we are in now if he wasn't in the team and he would be a big miss if he wasn't.
"When I play next to him and see some of the things he does, it is mind blowing. If I tried one of those things, I would definitely give away a goal.
"I don't know how he is so cool, especially with that shoulder on the weekend and flick backs to the keeper. It just shows how good he is and he can do it.
"For me I think he is one of the best in the Premier League. I don't think he gets as much credit as he should. He is playing for a side that is down the bottom we are fighting every week and it's tough for a defender when you are fighting for survival. He shows how good he is in them situations.”
