Jose Izquierdo is relishing playing for Brighton & Hove Albion again after an injury-hit season, writes James Wootton.
The Colombian returned to action after almost three months out in Albion’s 2-1 defeat at Leicester on Tuesday. He has made just ten appearances this season owing to knee injuries but now hopes to push on ahead of a crunch period for the Seagulls.
Speaking after the match, he said: “I’m happy to be back. It’s difficult, it’s been a long time without playing.
