It wasn’t pretty, but if you want a definition of a professional win this was it....Here Jack Butler rates the Crawley Town players.
1. Glenn Morris - 9
Different level - again. Multiple saves throughout, including a hat-trick of 1v1’s and a neat stop to deny Ian Henderson from close range. Morris was brave, and as always classy between the sticks.
2. Archie Davis - 7
Looked to struggle with Salford’s left winger Ash Hunter, but worked hard to keep him out of the game as much as possible. Decent performance all round from the right-back.
3. Joe McNerney - 8.5
Constantly organising the defensive line which was vital as Salford pushed forward in search of an equaliser. Immense at the back.
4. Jordan Tunnicliffe - 7.5
Apart from a miscued clearance than spun across the six yard box, Tunnicliffe was solid again. Paired with McNerney, the two look to be enjoying their time in the first team.
