Dean Saunders: ‘We were outclassed’
He said: “It was an awful, disastrous night for us. We were really just hanging on after about five minutes, and I just felt like we were hanging on in the game.
“They were better than us in all departments. They were moving the ball better than us and keeping the ball better than us and we had too many players just giving the ball away.

“The lads have just got to go home and watch the DVD and they’ve got to look at their own performances because I have got to talk to you, the owners of the club and the supporters about what happened.
“We just conceded a goal from a free-kick which was exactly the same as against Yeovil and I’ve just spent two days going over it.
“We are making under-18s mistakes, We have to hit the ground running and win some games. It was embarrassing for everyone at the club, especially for me as it was against my former club. You always want to do well against your old club.
“All credit to Doncaster they were much better than us.”

He said: “Joe’s sending-off for a punch was stupid - that was the last thing we wanted getting your captain sent-off. It also kills your team-mates who are left out there for half an hour.
“We got outclassed.”
