Hide AdGemma Staple and Sienna Howell came on to add fresh legs to the Chi side and Ariana Fleischmann came on late on as the hosts pushed forward.
In injury time, with a Chi player in the sin bin, Wild took advantage of a quick free kick to surge past a static defence and slot past Haynes. But time ran out leaving Keynsham with the points.
Boss Blakely said: ‘It was really disappointing after such good performances in our last two outings. Credit to Keynsham who came with a well-conceived plan, stuck to it and got the rewards.
“They showed great hunger for the game and it just lacked a little from us which was the big difference maker on the day. The girls will bounce back, that’s for sure.

Hide AdMidhurst manager Andy Ewen is delighted by the way his players have responded to being told a few ‘home truths’ after a shaky start.
“We’ve responded very well, firstly progressing in the Senior Cup with a good performance against premier side Hassocks.
“That was a free hit for us and we delivered, they under-estimated us and we punished them with Harry Giles getting a brace and Lewis Hyde continuing his recent run.
“We went into Mile Oak Saturday full of confidence. We started the game really well, got our noses in front, then had two great opportunities to kill the game off in the opening 30 minutes – but the keeper saved two penalties from Kieran Carter, I’ve never know Kieran miss, let alone twice in a game.

“The game was a real battle – we set up for that and I couldn’t fault anyone. The lads who came off the bench made a real impact in the last 30 minutes. “Jake Slater returned with a goal and Marcus Bedford come off the bench and caused them all sorts problems – he finished well through a crowded area after they had drawn level.
“The squad is in good shape – we only have Matt Rowland sidelined long-term and he’s making steady progress.
“We host Bexhill Saturday and we need to go up another level as they’re a good side.”
