We've got to make the Amex a difficult place to come - Hughton

Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton says it will be vitally important for the Seagulls to make the Amex a tough place to visit in the season's run-in.

Albion have failed to win at home in their last four matches and have registered just one victory in their last seven games at the Amex.

The Seagulls have enjoyed strong home form since promotion into the Premier League in 2017 and still have Huddersfield, Cardiff, Southampton, Bournemouth and Newcastle to play at the Amex as they battle to stay in the top flight.

Championship side Derby visit Brighton in the last 16 of the FA Cup this afternoon and Hughton knows just how key home form will be for the remainder of the season.

He said: "It's vitally important and we know the games which are coming up.
