It is a pairs event and the winners were Tony Lee and Brian Blackman with a score of 39. The Pro Putter Stableford was played, with the trophy a Hickory shaft putter which was presented to the club by Peter Grindley, the club professional, 25 years ago. This year’s winner was Peter Stares with 35 points. The Wentworth Taylor Cup is a four-ball better-ball Stableford and was won by Barry Rishman and Dan Fern with 39 points. Second were James Belcher and Malcolm Cawte, also with 39. The March monthly medal was played off the white tees. Division-one winner was Peter Meakins with nett 66; division two was won by Iain Jones with 70 An individual Stableford was played on an extremely windy and showery day.
