Eastbourne Speedway’s Tom Brennan will be one of Great Britain’s two representatives in this year’s European Under-21 championship.

The Hassocks-based teen-ager received the call-up after the nation’s first choice for the place, Dan Bewley, was injured.

The HG Aerospace Eagle will take his place in the qualifying round in the Czech Republic tomorrow.
