Rook strike sinks Bromley

HASTINGS United continued their fine start to life in Ryman Division One with a 1-0 win at home to Bromley.

A Carl Rook goal did the trick against a side that were second before kick-off.

Bromley threatened early on with Adolph Amoako twice going close and Romuald Boua also forcing a smart save out of the very impressive Danny Knowles as Hastings struggled to get to grips against their neat and tidy opponents.
